Gujarat State Roller Skating Association (GSRSA) was registered in August 1977, with the view of promote various forms of Roller Skating and conduct official events in Gujarat. The association is affiliated with the Roller Skating Federation of India (indiaskate.com) which has been accorded recognition by the Government of India as well as the Indian Olympic Association.

GSRSA has so far conducted 41 State Championships for various disciplines of Roller skating. State championships are conducted in all age groups and for disciplines like Speed Skating, Artistic Skating, roller hockey, Skateboarding

Over and above being the medal winners at the National Championships, Gujarat skaters have also been part of the Indian team for various international events and won medals for the country at the Asian Championships
